(a) From time to time a Tutor may need to cancel, rearrange a session, or arrange for the session to be taken by another Tutor and neither we, nor the Tutor are responsible for any consequences because of this.
(a) Bray Tutoring sessions are non-refundable once payment has been made.
(b) If You are unable to attend a 1:1 Tutoring session and sufficient notice (being not less than 24 hours) is given in writing, the Tutor will endeavour to reschedule the session at a mutually convenient time, but this cannot be guaranteed and, if no rescheduling is possible within two weeks of the original date, the Tutor shall be under no obligation to try to reschedule the session.
(c) Due to the nature of Group Courses, once they have been paid for and have been scheduled, they will go ahead even if one or more Tutees cannot attend. The session will proceed as scheduled with the Tutee(s) who is/ are unable to attend missing the session and not being eligible to receive any form of refund as a result.
If sessions cannot go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control and need to be cancelled by Bray Tutoring, then You will be refunded fully – subject only to deduction of any costs which we have incurred and in relation to which we would otherwise be out of pocket.
(a) Students are expected to attend a tutoring session (whether it is an individual session or as part of a Group session) no later than 15 minutes after the agreed start time. For example, if the session is scheduled for 3 pm the student is expected to attend no later than 3.15 pm. If the student does not attend within 15 minutes of the agreed start time, the tutor reserves the right to
(i) terminate the session where the student is the only scheduled attendee or
(ii) continue a Group Session with the other students
and in either case, in so far as the student is concerned, regard it as a completed session and the full fee is payable and a prepaid session cannot be rescheduled.
(b) If a Tutor is late to a session, then they will make the time up or reschedule it, as will be agreed with the Client.
